Halloween...better late than never!

I was unable to attend the Halloween festivities/trick or treating due to being at work, and I am just now getting pictures downloaded from the multitude of phones that were present. Skarlet's Mom sent her a SUPER cute costume! (way to go Lindsay!) Below are the photos that got taken "in action" while the kids all went door to door in one of the neighborhoods of Coeur d'Alene.

I was told that between the three of them they had about 8 lbs. of candy. They put Skarlet in a stroller between the houses and let her enjoy some of the gummy candies while they walked around the neighborhood.

Halloween tryouts!

I have a few pictures of Skarlet trying on different costumes, so I am posting them before the actual Halloween pics! They're unfortunately all from cell phones, so not the best, but hopefully you think they're cute too! :) 

The Marilyn wig was first. She can rock the blonde pretty well! 

After Marilyn we tried a portion of a Minnie Mouse costume...mainly the ears and super cute pink boots we found.

First Movie...

Leo and I took Skarlet to her first "big screen" movie at the Regal Cinema in Coeur d'Alene on Sunday. I could kick myselft for not taking a picture, but I didn't have my phone on me due to the fact that we were in a movie theatre. She loved it. She watched the whole of "Hotel Transylvania" without too much trouble. She kept looking back at me and pointing to the screen. :-) Then when she got used to it, she sat back and ate her strawberry puffs like they were popcorn.

Boxes are fun!

Random video that Mary took of Leo and Skarlet playing in a box. Skarlet loved it. She has a fascination with crawling in and throught things. :-) Leo and her have a little game they play where Skarlet makes noise and Leo then goes back and forth with his finger across her lips to distort it. Skarlet is trying to do that here.  The video  was taken at the beginning of October

Cousins!

 On the Right we a few of the younger cousins. Left to right is Skarlet, Makena (Krista's oldest), Skarlet's Uncle Leo, Keller and Briley (Tia's sons), and Kemper (Krista's youngest). The pictures and video were taken at Krista's home.

Being held by cousin Kemper. Everyone had tons of fun playing with Skarlet, Tia and her boys are from Seattle and had not had a chance to meet her before. After all that walking, Skarlet was pretty tuckered out.

The brunette is my Aunt Krista, which makes her Skarlet's great Aunt. The blonde is Skarlet's cousin (once removed) Tia, both on the paternal side.

Photo Shoot

Last time I was home (end of August) we had a Skarlet photo shoot outside at her Great Grandma Lyden's house trying to get a good picture of her for the Grandkid wall.  We ended up picking the pink picture on the rocks from my previous post for the current wall picture, but I thought I would share some of the others because they're super cute! :-).

 She was loving the grass on her feet, and was doing a really great job of standing up.

She stood there by herself for almost a minute (sadly, no steps this time) and she was super excited about it and was clapping when we said "yay!", which promptly made her fall over.

After she tipped over. She was quite confused as to what happened...she didn't want to stand up anymore after that.

I added this picture simply because her bed head/messy hair look makes me smile.  I hope you enjoy the pics! I will try to upload her walking video soon if I can get it e-mailed to me!
