I was at work over the holidays, and my family graciously waited until my return last weekend in order to have "Christmas". Thus why the updates on Skarlet & her first Christmas in Idaho is incredibly late. There are tons of pictures, and possibly a video if I can get it to work. Hope you enjoy!
Skarlet waiting patiently to open gifts!
First gift from Texas family! Skarlet got the hang of opening gifts really fast! She loved the blanket, she sat on it and opened gifts most of the night!
After a couple gifts, she opened her little alphabet toy. We took a video of her looking at it right after she opened it.
The two things we didn't take pictures of her opening were the little outfits that family sent her, they are super cute, but I have no photos of them on her yet. By the end of the night she was super tired! Below are some videos of her opening the darling little blanket with her name embroidered on it. :)

Skarlet loved both her fabric books! She looked through them before she would move on to her next gift!
The learning bus kept her occupied for quite some time. She wanted us to make everything work as soon as she unwrapped it!
The night light bug was a hit as well. She kept playing peek-a-boo with the lights because they changed colors :)
Those are all the pictures I have for now. I will try to post some with her Christmas outfits when they fit her a little better! They're both just a little bit big right now. :).
Skarlet's great Grandma Lyden had a fantastic idea this year and bought Skarlet and her cousin a round of swimming lessons at a great fitness center in the area. While I wasn't able to be there to actually see first hand, I am told that she's pretty fearless in the water and dove into lessons unreservedly. I can't wait to actually see her in action in the water this summer. I bet she'll love it on a whole new level. Here are a few pictures from her first go. Enjoy!
